Delete your VastuCalc account

Applies to the VastuCalc mobile application (package in.sagarkhengat.vastucalc).
How to request deletion.
Email sagarkhengat@gmail.com with the subject line “VastuCalc account deletion request”, sent from the email address registered to your account, or including the phone number registered to your account.
We confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
What you need to send
So we can find the right account and confirm it is yours, include whichever applies:
- The email address you used with Google Sign-In, sent from that address; or
- The phone number you used to sign in, including country code; or
- For a guest account: guest accounts are anonymous and have no email or phone number, so we cannot identify one from an email alone. Open the app, go to Settings → Account & Sync, and include the account identifier shown there.
What gets deleted
- Your account identity (Firebase Authentication record)
- Your projects, budgets and ledger entries
- Your material and cost estimates, and your saved rate card
- Contacts saved in your project directories
- Receipt images you uploaded
- Your analytics identifier and its associated events
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records. Payments for VastuCalc Pro are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not hold your payment details, and Google retains transaction records for the period required by tax and financial law. Deleting your VastuCalc account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in the Play Store, or in the app under Settings → Manage Subscription, before requesting deletion.
- Anonymised aggregates. Statistics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
- Legal obligations. Anything we are required by law to keep, for as long as the law requires.
Deleting a guest account without contacting us
A guest account is anonymous and tied to the app installation. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, permanently disconnects you from that account — it cannot be recovered afterwards. The orphaned cloud copy is deleted automatically after 12 months of inactivity. To have it removed sooner, email us with the account identifier as described above.
